Starting A Worker Cooperative
ICA was created in 1978 to alleviate unemployment and community
deterioration through the creation of cooperative enterprises.
Initially formed as an advocacy group, ICA was soon asked to provide
direct assistance to workers and community groups that wanted to create
their own worker cooperatives.
Today, ICA is the principle resource that community groups, community
development organizations and unions turn to when they are considering
creating a worker cooperative.
Read on to discover more about ICA's success in creating worker
cooperatives and how ICA can meet your own technical assistance needs.
